High yield and high THC.
Cannabis seeds that breeders and shops describe as both high-yielding and high in THC. We use our brackets, not their exact figures: a high yield is 600 g/m² or more, high THC is 25% or more. These are best-case claims, so read them as a direction. What you harvest depends on your grow.

Filters we used, and why
- Yield high: 600 g/m² or more, as the breeder or a shop states it. Yield brackets.
- THC high: 25% or more as stated. Why the advertised figure is high.
What "high yield" and "high THC" mean here
Breeders state yield and THC in many ways: grams per plant, per square metre, per watt; a percentage, a range, or just "very high". We sort every figure into three brackets so you can compare seeds from different breeders and shops like for like.
| Spec | Low | Middle | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yield | Under 450 g/m² | 450 to 600 g/m² | 600 g/m² or more |
| THC | Under 15% | 15 to 25% | 25% or more |
This page shows seeds stated in the high bracket for both. A seed with no stated yield or THC sits in the middle bracket, so it doesn't appear here even if it would qualify. Our brackets.
Why your harvest will differ from the label
A breeder measures its best plants, under its best conditions. Your number depends on your grow far more than on the seed.
What decides your yield
- Light: the strongest single factor indoors. More usable light means more buds, up to what the plant can use.
- Space and plant count: grams per square metre assumes the space is filled.
- Pot size, feeding and watering: a plant that never runs short grows bigger.
- Time: a photoperiod you let grow longer before flowering gets bigger. An autoflower runs on a fixed clock.
- Outdoors: sun, summer length and weather.
What decides your THC
- The genetics: they set the ceiling.
- Light and stress: a healthy plant under strong light reaches more of its potential.
- Harvest timing: cut too early and THC hasn't peaked.
- Drying and curing: slow and careful keeps what the plant made.
THC figures in seed shops are often the top result of one test. Read more in why the advertised figure is high and what decides your number.
Who this page is for
Growers who have done a run or two and want the most from a limited number of plants: in a tent with a plant limit, a small garden, or a place where a few plants is all you want. If it's your first grow, start with easy seeds instead: a seed that forgives mistakes yields more for a beginner than a demanding high-yielder.
Strong isn't the same as better
High THC doesn't make the best experience for everyone. If you prefer a lighter, clearer high, look at an uplifting, creative high or CBD seeds for a milder high.
Narrowing it down
- Flowering type: autoflowers are simpler, photoperiods give more per plant. Autoflower or photoperiod.
- Height: high-yield photoperiods can grow tall; check the height bracket against your space.
- Price per seed: compare the same seeds across shops. Price per seed.
Make it yours
- Autoflowers only: simpler to grow, usually a smaller harvest per plant.
- Feminized only.
- High yield only: drop the THC filter.
Good to know
Breeders describe their best results. Your light, feeding, weather and harvest decide what you actually get, so read every figure as a direction.
Filters like high, short, small and easy only show seeds where a breeder or shop states that figure. A seed with no figure sits in the middle bracket, so it isn't shown here even if it would fit. No figure? The middle bracket.
