About buxbeans.

buxbeans is the price comparison for cannabis seeds. We watch the market so you never overpay, and we help you pick the best seeds for your grow.

Why we built it

Every grow starts with a seed, and price is often the first thing in the way. The market doesn't make it easy: thousands of seed products, hundreds of shops, prices that change every week, and spec sheets written to sell. We make that first step easy and affordable: one place to compare the same seed product across shops, showing only what ships to you and leaving out what's sold out.

Who's behind buxbeans

buxbeans is built on three kinds of know-how, with more than 25 years of experience in each:

  • UX design, so the site is easy to find your way around and you get to the right seeds quickly.
  • Data science, to gather the data from hundreds of shops, clean it, normalise it and show it in a helpful way.
  • Cannabis knowledge, to know what each figure on a seed sheet means for your grow.

Independent and bootstrapped

No investors, no seeds of our own to sell. Nobody can pay us for a better spot: a shop or seed brand that cuts its price moves up, and its sale shows as a discount. That's the market working for you, not paid placement.

Some shops pay us a small fee when you buy through our link. It never changes the order. Those fees are how buxbeans pays its way.

How we compare

Seed brands and shops each describe their seeds their own way. We turn their prices and specs into figures you can compare: prices per seed in the pack size you'd buy, and specs in simple brackets.
